Frequently Asked Questions

I already have some fabric that I would like used on the canvas and decorated - is this possible?
Yes - not a problem! I would recommend that you scan or send me a small piece of fabric so I can come up with suggestions and ideas and then we can take it from there! Please see Commissions page for further information.
I know exactly what I want. I just want you to make it for me. Is this OK?
No problem at all - the best thing for you to do is to draw me a sketch or some cuttings/ideas then I can consult with you on prices/colours and all the finer details! Please see Commissions page for further information.
How comes all the prices are different?
The prices for the final pieces are decided through 2 factors - firstly the materials and secondly the time invested in actually making the piece. As I'm sure you can appreciate, the canvases are all hand sewn and on some of the heavily embellished pieces a lot of time is put in. This is reflected in the price. For commissions please contact me for an obligation free estimate.
I've found a piece I really like, but want it in other colours to match my room. Can I order work in any other colours?
Yes! I make all of these items myself there is a huge range of flexibility in the design and finish of these pieces. You can post any fabric or paint swatches and I will do my best to match up the background fabric or the sequins to this. You will be consulted before I begin. Please see Commissions page for further information.
The 'base' fabric can be pretty much any fabric of your choice, in a variety colours - mock suedes, silks, leather, cotton, felts to name but a few! If you have something specific in mind, or even if you just had a vague idea, contact me and I will do my best to source the right fabric for you! I have a large range of different colours and sizes of diamante, sequins and beads. I also have good links with suppliers so should be able to source exactly the right ones for you!
How long will it take a piece I have commissioned to be made and to arrive?
This depends again on the amount of work needed in the piece. I always aim to complete pieces within 14 days. However for a piece that requires lots of work, it may take up to 4 weeks. I will consult with you on this before any work is undertaken. If you need a piece urgently, then please contact me and I will do all I can to accommodate you. Please see Commissions page for further information.
I am currently sourcing restaurants and public areas. Do you own a restaurant or bar where you would like to display my work? Please contact me to discuss your ideas! I am exploring an art to hire programme so if you are interested drop me a line or give me a call! Please add yourself to my mailing list, where you will be notified of any I Love Twinkle Twinkle news - including exhibits and trade shows!
Do I need a PayPal account to pay by PayPal?
No!
Do you ship abroad?
I certainly do! Postage & Packaging Costs Stretched canvases are normally sent by courier for safe delivery. Prices shown are for Mainland England only. I am happy to ship abroad but please contact me for costs.
What happens if I’m not happy with my purchase?
There should not be any problems as there will be lots of consultation before and during the making of the piece. Any problems or queries should be raised during this consultation period. Please note that I am unable to make any changes once the piece has been started. If you have any issues once you have received the piece, you can return it to me, at your own cost, for me to make changes etc. The best way for you to make sure you are happy with the final piece is to make sure you consult with me to make sure I fully understand what it is you want.
